Stacking the Deck to launch product/Service #1
Stacking the Deck
This is a concept that is laid out in full in the book “12 Months to $1 Million” by Ryan Daniel Moran.
Before the launch of your first Product or service you want to “stack the Deck” in your favor.
To do this you will need to use the 3 items below:
-Create your own social media group on Facebook or other social media
-10 friends who are willing to post about your product/service on their social media
-1 micro influencer (has around 10,000 followers) to speak about your product/service
Starting your own facebook group
The best way to go about this is to become a member on other pages that your demographic is on. Once you’re in, start engaging others on the page and participating in the groups so people know who you are. Be helpful and talk about things inside the groups that add to the conversation.
After a month of engaging on the other pages and providing value to others without asking anything in return, start your own page and invite the friends you’ve made in these groups to join your group. In the beginning do not promote your product. Just engage with the audience and continue to provide value while getting the group’s numbers up and encouraging others to bring their friends over to the new group. Once your group has around 1000 members, when you can start letting them know about the launch date of your product or service you have coming out.
DO NOT POST ONLY ABOUT YOUR PRODUCT OR SERVICE.Still engage with the members and provide value and information on the group and to those who need it inside the group, replying to their questions. Make sure you have some time before the product release and when you do post about it, think of it as a movie premier. You’re hyping it up before it opens. As you get closer and closer to the release date, start posting more and more. And the week of you should be posting about it daily reminding people of it.
This is when you’d ideally have your 10 friends do the same, and be on the micro influencer’s podcast or show to talk about your niche, and the product or service you have coming out along with the release date.
After the product/service releases, post reviews of people on your social media, and in the group. Have your friends post their reviews, as well, on their social media.
Kick starter is another way to add wood to the fire. Prior to the release date, you can direct people here to raise capital for your product or service, and deliver to the funders at a later date.
In the book Ryan states that you should see around 100 sales per day the first couple days of your product release, if this is executed correctly. The premise of his book is that if you can get 3-5 products, selling for an average value of $30, averaging 25 sales per day each. Then you have a $1 Million Business. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to start and business and take it to $1,000,000 in top line revenue.
